A series of paintings with motifs inspired by the landscape of the Jizera Mountains. In my first encounter with beech forests and rough granite I tried to paint several scenes in the vicinity of the Hájený brook below the Paličník peak near the village of Bílý potok. All plein air studies are done in Japanese Kobaien ink on Arches and Saunders Waterford cotton paper, 36x51 cm. On the Jizera Mountain plains I tried to paint the Jizerka Peat Bog. A great admirer of the Jizera peat bogs and uplands was, for example, the naturalist and writer Miroslav Nevrlý, or the photographer Siegfried Weiss.

Započatá série obrazů s motivy inspirovanými krajinou Jizerských hor. V prvním setkání s bukovými lesy a hrubozrnou žulou jsem se pokusil namalovat několik výjevů v okolí Hájeného potoka pod vrcholem Paličník nedaleko obce Bílý potok. Všechny plenérové studie jsou vytvořeny japonskou tuší Kobaien na bavlněný papír Arches a Saunders Waterford formátu 36x51 cm. Na jizerskohorských pláních jsem se pokusil namalovat Rašeliniště Jizerky. Velkým obdivovatelem jizerských rašeliniť, vrchovišť byl např. přírodovědec a spisovatel Miroslav Nevrlý, či fotograf Siegfried Weiss.
